Membership Development Manager

WANTED URGENTLY! A Membership Development Manager for an international membership body (within the Engineering field) based in HQ office, central London. This is a full-time, permanent role paying £36,000 per annum plus excellent benefits!

Key responsibilities of the Membership Development Manager:

- To be responsible with and through their team to deliver all the support activities relating to enabling individual applicants to progress to Membership application through the Academic Review activities
- To ensure the smooth and timely delivery of the review and approval activities undertaken by the organisation and to ensure appropriate support to relevant Committees
- Product development, communications roll-out and project implementations as agreed by the Senior Manager
- Provide high quality customer support to members and potential members and to act as the reference point for the teams when dealing with academic, initial professional development related enquiries
- To provide guidance and support in interpreting policy and/or providing solutions to management, providing reports and queries
- Support the internal quality audit processes and activities, working with colleagues to embed process documentation
- To assist in general administration

The Membership Development Manager will most likely have/be:

- Substantial of working in a complex customer oriented administrative environment dealing with enquiries from all levels
- Excellent change management skills
- Experience in the use and manipulation of data on large scale databases
- Substantial experience in volunteer / stakeholder management and meeting their needs
- Proven experience of managing and motivating a team to meet objectives 
- Project management skills
- Numerate with strong literacy skills
- Results driven and have a flexible approach
- Budget management experience
- Self-starter with ability to monitor and maintain high quality standards
- Competent with MS Office, networks and systems
- Experience within an engineering environment/membership body/professional institution
