Membership Development Executive
£30,000 to £35,000 • Permanent • based in London
This role is ideally suited to an professional individual who is commercially driven but able to deliver a consultative business development approach. Working with a highly professional membership brand that is very current and vibrant.
With membership growth a top priority for the organisation, our client is looking for a dynamic and proactive Membership Development Executive to help develop and grow their membership in the UK and internationally.
Working as part of a small membership team, reporting to the Membership Manager and working closely with other departments. You will help develop and deliver the Membership recruitment plan to meet agreed annual targets. You will develop new business relationships by proactively building a solid deliverable pipeline for new business over the phone, by e-mail and in person. You will also develop and manage initiatives and campaigns to raise the profile and awareness of the services to potential members.
You’ll be an excellent all-round communicator with the ability to consider opportunities to recruit new members and assess the risk or impact. You will have a positive attitude and experience of achieving within a structured and target-driven environment. You will demonstrate the ability to understand client needs, with experience in presenting to and engaging with clients at a senior level to win business. You will have excellent knowledge of CRM database management.
You will be able to quickly understand complex issues and themes. It would be preferable to have an understanding of membership organisations but this is not essential.
