I am recruiting a Membership Assistant to support the day to day operations of the membership team, specifically verifying membership, processing applications and renewals and reporting membership numbers.
You will be responsible for processing and preparing membership verifications, keeping accurate logs of requests, agreeing fees and raising invoices as required, as well as the day to day logging and processing of applications and renewals for the different membership grades of this professional body.
Managing, recording and responding to membership enquiries via telephone, email and letter, you will learn to support the association by selling the benefits of membership both via the above means as well as face to face at events and exhibitions.
Technical skills you’ll learn will include data capture and maintenance, reporting on membership retention and recruitment campaigns, and updating the membership database with regards to member records, payment plans and membership activities.
This is a perfect first step into a membership environment, allowing you to become an expert in all things membership related (membership processes and applications, membership communications, issuing of certificates, following up incomplete applications and processing cancellations).
You will have a proven track record in administration, accurate data entry and impeccable customer service. Ideally, you will have worked in a role requiring the accurate creation of customer files.
