A stunning opportunity for an experienced Account manager with a clear track record of managing business to business accounts either for a reputable commercial company or ideally in a membership related organisation. Our client is a well-known highly influential and respected business membership organisation which offers its members incredible networking opportunities as well as highly valued business services.
Overview of the role
The role is primarily focused on building relationships with members, to ensure that membership is helping them to achieve their business objectives and that they renew their membership each year. Account Managers focus on different sectors and are responsible for becoming an expert in their sectors. This will help them understand the wants and needs of members and develop new products and services to meet those ever-changing needs. Account Managers are responsible for communicating with all members through proactive outbound and inbound contact by phone, email, mail and in person-both at events and through visiting members’ premises where applicable. Account Managers are also responsible for managing some of the services we offer members, and in particular those we offer in partnership with third parties. Therefore strong account management skills, a commercial focus and excellent communication skills are essential. We are looking for someone with experience of account managing businesses in any sector. Our core sectors are Hospitality and Leisure, Defence and Security, Creative Industries, Professional Services, International Trade/Exporters and Property and Construction.
