Members Team Assistant, Covent Garden, London
£20,000 plus bonus (Est. £22,000)
9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Global CTS is working with this well established client who is the trade body for a forward thinking industry working with major superbrands on a daily basis. There absolute belief is that digital is the smartest way for brands to reach and wow their customers. They are there to help simplify and explain the sometimes complex world of digital advertising, as a trusted source of research, guidance and education and to celebrate the very best in class creative. They do this through a range of activities, events, training, research, defining developments in the industry, setting standards, helping the industry to remain self-regulated and more.
My client works in a very open and collaborative way. A team of c. 30, they have a company meeting to kick off the week, project teams composed of people from different departments, as well as a strong sense of team within each department. They encourage their people to be entrepreneurial and feel empowered to drive change and new projects. They are not about working at your desk all day every day, the office has a separate events space which allows them to change the scenery and they encourage hot desking and support flexible working.
Culture is very important to them, they work with the whole industry, an innovative, dynamic and fast moving sector so they want their people to add to the fabric of what they do and what they represent. A social and upbeat team with different expertise and interests (baking, cycling, eating burgers) and a great ability to pitch in and work together to deliver big events and initiatives. Education is important so in addition to training they hold regular lunch and learn sessions, presentations for the team that help all keep up to speed with developments across the industry.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The Team Assistant will support both the Member Services and Industry Initiatives teams. The Member Services team look after members, keeping them happy and engaged with the business, and you will report into the Member Services Manager. The Industry Initiatives team are focussed on delivering projects within the company to members for their benefit, such as guidebooks, videos and events. This role will also support the Industry Initiatives team, with a dotted line of reporting into the Industry Initiatives executive. The Member Services and Industry Initiatives teams sit together and work very closely with each other. We are looking for a graduate or graduate calibre candidate with an interest in marketing, digital marketing and/or sales who is looking for a busy role that involves project administration, attending events as well as building strong relationships with clients.
Desirable & Essential
Ideally but not necessarily qualified to degree level
Ideally but not necessarily experience in the digital advertising industry
Excellent communication skills both verbally and on paper
Excellent interpersonal skills
An incredibly organized team player
A creative thinker with new ideas and a passion for marketing
An eye for design and detail
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft
A sense of humour, flexible and helpful attitude, self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative
