We are recruiting for an experienced Meeting and Events Co-ordinator to join our team at the Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be customer focused with the ability to communicate and build relationships with clients. They must be able to work unsupervised in a small team within a large hotel. A hospitality background to include food and beverage knowledge is desirable
Duties & Competencies of a Meeting and Events Co-ordinator:
As Meetings and Events Co-ordinator you will deal with all meeting and event enquiries for the hotel. You will be responsible for the conversion of enquiries to booking stage and thereafter the planning and completion of each event. You will ensure that all Guests receive an outstanding Handpicked service from start to finish ensuring maximum revenue is generated for each conference facility. You will also need to conduct show-rounds with clients.
You must be passionate about ensuring every event is a success and creates fantastic memories for our guests whilst demonstrating a thorough knowledge of hotel products and services.
You will need to have previous customer service experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual that would like to work in a fast paced office environment looking for a new and exciting role. They should have strong interpersonal skills and an advanced command of the English Language.
