Hyper Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for a Medicinal Chemist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Oxfordshire area. As the Medicinal Chemist you will be responsible for supporting a project team within the department of discovery chemistry, as you look to develop novel small molecule drugs.


Your duties as the Medicinal Chemist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.You will be performing experiments using standard laboratory techniques that you and your team have designed, and will interpret.

2.You will be responsible for identifying and overcoming any problems faced during your experiments.

3.In order to develop novel small molecule drugs, you will also be working closely with other departments such as Structural Biology, DMPK and Research Informatics.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Medicinal Chemist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant masters or degree in Chemistry.

2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory environment, including knowledge of standard laboratory techniques.
