This is an exciting time to join Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust (LPFT), as we continue to expand and are welcoming applications from experienced candidates to join our new Female Acute Treatment Ward Team.
About the Role:
Ash Villa is our new 15 bedded acute treatment inpatient ward, newly created as part of ambitious plans to expand and develop our services and patient offering.
The post holder will provide vital secretarial support to the Consultant Psychiatric, the wider Medical Team and Multi-Disciplinary Team, assisting them with the smooth delivery of their assessments, reviews and communications to service users.
Duties will include collating information and information management for the Responsible Clinician and their Medical Team. Typing, formatting and amending various reports including Ward Rounds, Mental Health Tribunal Reports and coordinating attendance for various patient/professional/service development meetings.
The role is essential to the Ward and you will need to be self-motivated, highly organised and enthusiastic.
You must enjoy working within a busy environment and have excellent administration, organisational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
We will expect the post holder to be proficient at organising appointments and the Consultant’s diary, as well as using software systems to accurately track the progress of the service users through the service, although training will be given to help the person to learn how to use these.
You will have accurate and advanced keyboard skills, be able to transcribe notes, take complex minutes and handle telephone queries.
Further you will have knowledge and understanding of patient confidentiality & the Date Protection Act.
If you have a minimum of OCR (RSA) III and NVQ level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent experience and have experience of using Microsoft Packages then this could be the role for you.
A knowledge and understanding of medical terminology is desirable and previous experience of RiO and the Mental Health Act is advantageous although not essential as training will be provided.
