Key Account Manager / Territory Manager - Blood Salvage / Autologous Blood Transfusion / Medical Devices

Region - Northern England, focus on Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool but including all major northern hospitals.

The Territory Manager will be responsible for selling cutting edge medical capital equipment and consumables that diagnose how blood is likely to behave on an individual patient basis in invasive theatre environments. The equipment (a whole blood analyser) will determine how blood will behave (excess bleeding, clotting etc) and diagnose why and how best to treat for individual patients. A conceptual sale the role will be heavily focused on educating key opinion leading surgeons / decision makers. Theatre environments that are targeted include - Cardiac, Liver Transplant, Orthopaedics, Gynae and vascular. The role will be a mixture of new business and account management.Key contacts to include surgeons, theatre managers, anaesthetists, laboratory managers, EBME, procurement. This role requires a strong sales professional with a demonstrable track record of selling on clinical outcomes and health economic arguments.

Applicant

  • •Proven track record of selling at surgeon / KOL level
  • •Ability to demonstrate success selling a conceptual / innovative medical device product
  • •Proven credibility with key opinion leading surgeons
  • •Hands on approach, innovative, passionate, driven and able to work on their own initiative!
  • •Applicants will have an interest in / the ability to understand technical products
  • •Ability to change clinical professional’s behaviour through education.
  • •Ability to close sales and deliver against target.
  • •Theatre / intensive care exposure
  • •Attitude and determination are key!
