My client, a busy and fast paced practice based in the hear of the city centre are currently looking to recruit an experienced medical receptionist/admin assistant to join their team on an initial contract of 3months.
Reporting to the Practice Manager you will be acting as first point of contact for all patients and members of the public as well ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
Responding to all queries and requests for assistance from patients, doctors and visitors
Monitor the flow of patients into the consulting rooms
Receive specimens from patients recording all necessary details
Registering new patients
Chase results from hospitals
Set and amend appointments for patients, doctors, nurses and other members of the primary health care team
Completion of all necessary paperwork and records
As the successful candidate you must have previous experience within a GP Practice either within an administrative or reception-based role. As well as this knowledge and experience of EMIS is essential to the role
Being in the centre of Manchester public transport links are excellent however free parking may be limited.
The company offers a highly competitive salary as well as progression. Though initially a temporary contract for 3 months there are possibilities of a permanent role.
