We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join our Radiology Department located at our Main Hospital in Central London, W1G 6BW on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest independently owned non-profit hospital, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine.

Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 234 beds and 10 theatres, and The Duchess of Devonshire Wing is our award-winning cancer centre, which includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites and 47 dedicated patient bedrooms for Oncology & Haematology patients.

Job Profile:

As Medical Receptionist you will provide a professional and patient focused service to our referring consultants and their patients attending our reception, registration and cashiering areas.

  • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week. The shift pattern is rotational, working between the hours of 7.30am-8pm Monday to Friday whilst rotating Saturdays &Sundays between the hours of 8.30am-5pm.
  • Salary: The salary for this role is competitive and will be dependent upon skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide administration support to Radiology and consultants.
  • To ensure the highest levels of service excellence are delivered to patients, staff and visitors of the Clinic.
  • To maintain the high standards of the patients, visitors, consultants and staff, continually aiming to exceed expectations.
  • To follow departmental processes and procedures to ensure that the best services are delivered to our patients.

Skills & Experience

  • Receptionist is a similar private hospital or a 4*/5* hotel / corporate front of house
  • Ability to motivate and influence colleagues
  • Communication Skills
  • Disciplined
  • Attention to detail
  • Experienced working in Medical receptions or as Medical Secretary
