Our client, a leading healthcare provider of clinical equipment to the NHS, require a Solutions Development Manager to provide a consultative service to all NHS clients throughout the UK. This role is based in Leeds with some travel to customers.

The role of a Solutions Development Manager will assess a range of clinical assets such as; ECG Scanners, MRI Scanners, Mobile Unit Technology etc. You'll act as a management consultant to help organisations solve issues, create value, maximise growth and improve business performance on their asset portfolio.

You will use commercial and business skills to provide objective advice and have support from clinical experts to help an organisation develop effective equipment plans for their NHS partner organisations to better finance, plan, utilise and dispose of equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

* You will be responsible for winning & delivering new opportunities to support NHS organisations procure and finance long-term medical equipment replacement plans;
* Lead research, analytical, problem-solving and solutions development activities to identify, develop, test and operationalise new innovative solutions to help hospitals better utilise and dispose of medical equipment;
* Present and pitch to customers and key stakeholders, including senior management and functional specialists within the NHS;
* Facilitate workshops with clinical staff, medical equipment specialists and senior decision makers within NHS trusts, including Directors of Finance;
* Apply expert communication, project management and change management skills to lead and deliver projects working with cross functional specialists.

Key Skills and Experience:

* Ideally have experience working within healthcare and/or the NHS;
* Experience solutions development/delivery in a complex business with high challenge is essential;
* The ability to shape services and solutions from concept, though to delivery is an essential skill set and component for this role;
* Highly effective interpersonal skills, and be able to build and sustain relationships with individuals is a must for the successful candidate;
* The credibility and ability to operate effectively in a political landscape will be key;
* You should be comfortable in leading change and able to support others effectively through change.

As part of this process you will be expected to meet with the specialist consultant who will conduct the initial 1st stage interview, following a successful appointment you will need to be available for interview throughout May.
