About the role
As a Medical Administration Team Leader, you will manage the medical delivery team providing medical screening services to Army applicants as part of the National Recruiting Centre service provision.
You will lead and develop a team of Medical Administrators to deliver a high standard of service. You will therefore be ambitious and always pushing to create, build and deliver high performing teams through a mix of management techniques.
You will have the confidence to operate across a busy team and have the skills to manage a variety of tasks, which will include building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Since March 2012, Capita has been working with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in a partnering arrangement with the armed forces to deliver recruitment services for the Army. The project represents a major investment in the transformation for military recruiting.
What you will do:
Leads and inspires your team to achieve targets
Performance management of the individuals within your team
Run team meetings and keeps team informed
Coaches and train individuals to improve motivation and performance
Recognise and celebrate team accomplishments and exceptional performance
Work closely with the other medical administration teams to have full understanding of the medical pipeline
Your experience will include:
- Previous team management experience and strong leadership skills
- Previous experience in managing administration teams is highly desirable
- Experience in motivating, developing and appraising individuals to deliver a high standard of service
- Ability to plan and organise your team and previous experience dealing with senior stakeholders
- Experience in the healthcare arena is desirable but not essential
- Experience in training others in administration tasks is desirable
