Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Media Sales Manager who can tender and develop new business by pitching on the phone and face to face with senior decision makers who understands the powerful role that media can play in engaging with customers and prospects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to create desire

Effective communicator

Passionate about how media and content drives both lead generation and brand awareness

Ensuring the annual personal sale target is achieved

Excellent presentations skills and an effective communicator

Highly professional in producing compelling presentation and proposals

Leading the development of commercially funded print and native content campaigns

Ability to monetise our cross-media platforms and react quickly to opportunities

Developing new business and creating ongoing pipeline through pitches to clients, advertising and marketing companies

Develop creative concepts and pitched for clients

Travelling overseas to represent company

Reviewing competitive activity and delivering creative solutions

Stay calm to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Should be a good listener and interpreters to transform the client’s thoughts into reality

Understanding the attitudes and behaviors of target customers

Organisational skills and report literacy is essential

Conduit between client and us

Ensure that projects are within budget whilst maximising profit

Fluency and basic knowledge of all offline and digital major communication channels

Participating in and overseeing concept development

Researching current trends

Ability to effectively communicate company positioning

Assuring the companies branded content work is relevant, engaging and effective

Working alongside editors and designers and other members of the content development function

Keeping projects moving through the company and maximising the project efficiently with financial numeracy

Knowledge of the digital landscape and strong understanding of production

High levels of numeracy and creative skills

Strong communication and presenting skills is a must, both written and verbal

Ideal candidate is unflappable, ambitious and a team player

Collaborative work style and ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
