The regional office of a national civil engineering and MEICA contractor are looking for an "Mechanical Project Engineer" in South Devon. They specialise in the construction of water treatment works, waste to energy plants and large industrial installations with projects ranging in value from £300K to £30M?
In the position of "Mechanical Project Engineer" you will be working within a vastly experienced team comprising of other Project Engineers, site based Engineers and Foreman, Mechanical & Electrical Designers, and Quality Assurance Engineers. Your duties will include Project Programming using Microsoft project, producing method statements, risk analysis, cost to completes (CTC's), ordering of equipment, cost control and undertaking RAMS.
We are looking for candidates from electrical contracting backgrounds in either water treatment, waste to energy, heavy industrial or plant backgrounds, keen to work locally to the Plymouth area. You must have the desire to progress into a role where you will specialise in project programming or contracting management across a range of projects?
This business will consider applications from all avenues, you may be an engineer or electrician with some experience in project programming, or aptitude to manage and play an integral part of projects ranging in size and value. Most importantly will be your desire to learn, work in a team, and specialise your skills within key infrastructure projects throughout the South West. Dependant on experience a competitive salary of between £30,000 - £40,0000 p/a plus car and package will be made available. Most importantly the opportunity to develop into a highly valuable Project Engineer.
