The salary is £33,218 per annum so hourly rates during the temporary to permanent phase will be £15.97/hr PAYE.
Hours of work will be 7am-3pm (week 1) and then 10am-6pm (week 2).
A mechanically qualified engineer is required & some electrical experience which would be an advantageous.
Manufacturing experience is essential from a process driven environment.
Other duties/requirements include;
-Experience in robotic units & rotating machinery.
-Must be able to fault find & rectify machine breakdowns.
-Must be able to use a milling m/c & lathe (quite a big proportion of their day to day routine)
-Must be able to bench fit.
-Ideally would be able to do fabrication & arc weld.
-Able to fault find & rectify pneumatics.
-Must be able to work unsupervised.
-Most of all must be self-motivated.
Holidays are initially 20 days rising by 1 day per year service to a maximum of 25 days + 8 days statutory (once permanent) which can be taken as per the bank holidays.
