We are working with a long-established manufacturing business in the West Bromwich area who are looking to add a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their day shift team. This is a stable, hands-on role supporting a busy production environment with well-maintained machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across site machinery and plant
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime
• Support preventative maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach
