Mechanic/ hydraulic Construction Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer
Based in or near Leeds / Sheffield or between would be ideal to cover West Yorkshire.
£14 per hour (39 hours / week Paid door to door) + Overtime + fully expensed company vehicle + Tools + 25 days Holiday (and 8 days Bank holiday)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced mechanical / hydraulic biased engineer with strong electrical skills. Experienced Construction Plant Engineers whom have worked on Excavators and Articulated Dump Trucks ideal but not essential as full manufacturers training can be given for the right candidate. Large renowned group, specialising in the supply and service of a branded range of construction plant equipment for the earth moving, recycling, demolition, plant hire and Civil Engineering markets are seeking to expand their service team and field engineering expertise.
Job Role :
Your time will be spent based from home and travelling to customer sites, providing a broad range of electro -mechanical repairs for a range of construction plant machinery.
You will benefit from receiving a van and working hours paid at door to door, with overtime paid in addition of time and half and double time for any Sunday work.
The right person will need to be prepared to build customer relationships and support the expansion of the portfolio of customers and adhere and sustain to all health and safety requirements.
Previous construction plant experience and specifically excavators and articulated dump trucks ideal.
Apprentice trained / NVQ level 3 construction plant desirable.
Field service engineering experience
Good command of the English Language - Essential
Customer facing / relationship builder
UK / EU Drivers licence ( no more than 6 points )
