Mechanical Maintenance fitter working a 3 phase shift (days 6-2, afters 2-10 and nights 10 -6)

Clemence Roger is working with one of the largest manufacturers of advanced plumbing, heating and engineering products across the world.

We are currently looking to recruit a mechanical maintenance fitter to work on a 3 phase shift pattern of days, afters and nights which annually works out at 37 hours per week.


* Carrying out mechanical fitting works as required by the company

* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation with regard to machine control and safety protective systems of new and existing plant

* Providing maintenance support to production personnel as required

* Provide maintenance support to production engineers with projects

* To actively support all factory improvement projects from mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic perspective

* Route cause analysis on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

The Role:

* Working in a busy workshop in Doncaster as part of a team on a continental shift pattern

* Identifying and implementing continuous improvements and use of own initiative

* Experience of working in a production environment


* Apprentice trained or recognised engineering based qualification

* Working at height regulations

* An up to date understanding of all relevant legislative requirements and latest appropriate standards to achieve compliance

* A wide range of experience and knowledge of the maintenance and installation of plant equipment and associated systems

* Computer literate

* Lifting and slinging/crane operations


Basic rate of pay is £24,523 with a shift premium taking the salary to £26.523

* Working on an 3 phase shift pattern working an average of 37 hours

* 20 days holiday plus 8 stats
