Mechanical Estimator

Mechanical Estimator - Liverpool

A chance to work for a tier one M&E contractor based in their Liverpool office, my client focus on high end residential projects up to the value of £20 million. I am working with a national business which means you will be in charge of projects/works across the whole of the UK.

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator to work with a successful team in businesses that have been operating for over 80 years. My client has a turnover of £100 million currently and they are looking to expand this in the foreseeable future. My client is willing to pay up to £45,000 depending one experience.

Ideally the candidate for this job will have worked for a large M&E contractor in the past.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Submission of Mechanical Tenders
  • Value engineering
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Liaising with clients & contractors
  • Variations
  • Procurement
  • Finalise tender bids
  • Secure contracts
  • Handovers
  • Understand and scrutinise Sub-Contractor quotations
  • Measuring and take offs for materials and labour
