Graduate with degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and experience in oil & gas domain. Strong Mechanical Engineering skills with exposure to detailing of Subsea and Surface Oil & Gas equipment’s using Creo & AutoCAD, performing simple FEA using Ansys, hand calculations and correlating with the outcomes of FEA, working with standards like API 17F/ISO 13628-6 & other Subsea Specific standards, DNV standards applicable for designing O&G equipment’s.
Computer base knowledge (MS Windows / Word/Excel/Outlook), customer focus, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, experience of working in a global team and be creative and ability to communicate ideas to the team and work towards problem resolution is an added advantage.
The role will involve:
- Design and develop of Subsea Equipment’s, Control Modules, HPUs, Fixed/Flying plates, UTA (Umbilical Termination Assembly), TUTA (Top side Umbilical Termination Assembly), Mudmats, Junction Plates (Fixed/Flying), HFL (Hydraulic flying leads), Umbilical Reels, Shipping Pallets, Sheaves, ROV tooling, Hydraulic and Electrical schematics etc).etc.,
- Generate functional design specification, design, engineering, test procedures, qualification testing for the component or unit level
- Carrying Full product lifecycle safety assessments, developing products through design review and tollgate process
Willing to travel in UK, Europe or India including possible secondment to undertake project work
