Tower hamlets is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join their team.

Your new company
You will be working with a great team of engineers within Tower Hamlets Council. This Council is located at the heart of London. With major and minor projects running across the borough you will never be short of work.

Your new role
You will be tasked with dealing with all Commercial Mechanical tasks from inspecting on going works, estimating for minor projects to organising and overseeing of contractors. The borough has a mixture of listed buildings to new builds and common systems within these buildings that would be CCTV and door entry systems along with all ventilation and fire systems. The role will require you to take part in the design stage of some of the systems mentioned. The role is very diverse and would be fitting for a worker that aims to work within a busy environment.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a strong background in Mechanical Engineering within commercial sites. Experience in organising and handling contractors would be essential. Knowledge of Mechanical Design along with strong technical background would be suited for the role.

What you'll get in return
A competitive day rate of £200-£250 with a long term contract with the possibility of renewal. You will work within a diverse role within an experienced team.
