Mechanical Engineer

Do you have design experience using SolidWorks? Do you have a strong background in mechanical engineering?

In the role you will review and make design changes on CAD models and drawings including jigs and fixturing design. You'll resolve day to day ECO issues working with other teams and departments as neccessary. You will investigate and implement solutions for engineering changes. You'll also undertake validation and verification tests and reports for NPI and product refreshes.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (based on exp.), + bonus + pension + 25 days holiday.

You’ll be part of a company with an excellent reputation in their field. They specialise in the design & development of medical operating theatre equipment. It’s fair to say that your work will have a positive impact not just on those around you but also for the users of these products. You do not need prior experience in the medical field, although it’s essential that you have worked in a regulated industry previously.

About You

To be successful, you will already have extensive mechanical engineering skills gained in a regulated industry (e.g. healthcare, telecoms, automotive, scientific, aerospace, or other). Experience of CAD models using SolidWorks 2015 onwards is essential. Knowledge of PDM would be an advantage. In this role it’s important that you have the ability to develop relationships and influence across a wide variety of teams & stakeholders.
