Mechanical Engineer - Analytics - Cambridge
A fast-growing, dynamic biotechnology firm based in Cambridge are looking to expand their R&D division by bringing on board an experienced and analytical Mechanical Engineers to lead state-of-the-art technology projects.
This exciting new role will give the Mechanical Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge products at the forefront of the biotechnology sector alongside some of the brightest minds in the field. This position will also encompass leadership within the team but will remain very much a hands-on role focused on the design and development of complex medical devices and instrumentation.
You will need to utilise your engineering, mathematical and scientific skills to solve complex, real-world problems by using tools such as MATLAB and Simulink as well as programming in Python.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or other closely related subjects as well as some experience within a highly regulated environment, such as; medical devices, oil and gas or defence. You will need to have strong mathematical skills and have experience with MATLAB, Simulink as well showing that you have made a difference to your past projects.
