My client is a well-known, multi-million pound company, specialising in the development of fuel cell technology for a number of industries.

The organisation is seeking a Mechanical Design Lead - Renewable, Aerospace/Automotive. In this position you will lead and manage the development, execution of product validation and life-cycle product support across allocated projects and development activities.

As the Mechanical Design Lead - Renewable, Aerospace/Automotive, you will be responsible for:
?Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers.
?To ensure the effective delivery of design and development programmes.
?Identifying and implementing development and training.
?Responsible for ensuring appropriate engineering processes and tools are used.

The requirements for the Mechanical Design Lead - Renewable, Aerospace/Automotive are:
?Degree-Qualified or equivalent in Engineering or a related Science.
?Demonstrable track record leading and developing teams
?Demonstrable experience of managing product design projects
?A sound understanding of design process.
?Ability to inspire a team of engineers.
