Mechanical Assembler

Location: Portsmouth

Hours: 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Salary: £14.52 an hour

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler, required by their client, a leading global manufacturing and engineering company. This role offers full-time work on a temporary to permanent basis, working day shifts.

What are we looking for?

  • Must have previous Mechanical Assembly experience.
  • Ideally worked in a factory with manufacturing expertise.
  • Reliable and committed.
  • Possible experience as a Kitter.
  • Someone with a good work ethic.
  • Excellent at forging relationships and working in a team. .

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for Assembly of housings to manufacture drawings in accordance with applicable Quality Procedures.
  • Manufacturing and assembling mechanical parts.
  • Working to deadlines
  • Using the SAP system to facilitate information flow and record data.
