Role- Measurement Engineer / Quality Engineer

Salary- £20,000- £35,000 per annum but really dependant on experience (please advise what you would be looking for)

Type- Permanent

Location- Buckinghamshire

My client designs and manufactures products related to the Automotive, and they are looking to take on a Measurement Engineer/ Quality Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Buckinghamshire area.

The Measurement Engineer / Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or similar)
  • Proficiency with using Polyworks
  • Previous experience working within and supervising Measurement / Quality Technicians would be desirable
  • Good understanding of manufacturing
  • Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team

The Measurement Engineer / Quality Engineer role will involve:

  • Writing and developing programmes for 3D measurement of child parts for scanning using Polywork software off line
  • Training and supervision of measurement technicians
  • Writing and development of reporting in Polywork of child parts to drawings
  • Measurement and validation of child parts to drawing notes
  • Testing and measurement of drawing features to drawing notes
  • Working within a team of other Engineers
