Applications are invited for the post of MDT Co-ordinator within the Cancer Information Department at St Helens & Knowsley Hospitals Trust.

This is a pivotal role and is required to support multidisciplinary teams and coordinate the pathway for patients with cancer. You will be key to ensuring that cancer standards are met by proactively managing the patient pathway to ensure that patients receive their treatment in a timely and efficient way.This will involve liaising with clinical and administrative teams, both within the Trust and tertiary centres to coordinate appointments, investigations and treatment.

In addition, you will provide administrative support to cancer multi-disciplinary team meetings and ensure all data requirements are collected and inputted onto the relevant database.

We require a highly motivated team player, with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be self-motivated and will work to a consistently high standard with the ability to manage your own time. A willingness to learn skills and the ability to work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with staff at all levels will make the job an exciting and rewarding challenge.
