Are you passionate about mental health care for older people?

We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic senior nurse who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality and excellence in care, and whose leadership skills can inspire and influence others.

The post holder will work within the Community Business Unit management team to lead and develop the Trust’s Older Persons’ Mental Health Services. You will be expected to demonstrate innovative and creative approaches to Older Persons’ Mental healthcare delivery to support transformation of the service to ensure the service continues to provide the high quality safe care and treatment for patients and their carers.

The post holder will lead and support the Community Mental Health Nurses of which there are three sectors, Younger Persons Dementia Service, Memory Hub, Mental Health Liaison and two inpatient wards which provide functional and organic services working alongside the Service Line Manager and Old Age Psychiatrists.

Applicants should be a senior registered mental health nurse with experience in the delivery of older persons’ mental health care, and be able to demonstrate a track record of service improvement and evidence of cultural transformation.

This post is subject to enhanced DBS disclosure.
