In this role as a Maths Teaching Assistant you should be able to work with a range of pupils from varied backgrounds and abilities. It is essential you have a 2.1 or above in a mathematics related degree and have a passion to support others.
You will be working mainly on a one-on-one basis providing support for children with autism, cognitive development and communication difficulties. You will need to display a motivational, engaging and patient manner throughout this role and be proactive to ensure the students are fully supported.
To be considered for this role you must be a graduate with a passion for Special Needs or Child Psychology and will be supportive caring and build a good relationship with the student that you would be working with. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become teachers keen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support for children who have autism and communication difficulties.
