Maths Teacher - Stafford Area - December Start - Fixed-Term Contract

Academics are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a Secondary School in the Stafford area, a thriving and "Good"-rated secondary school, to recruit an inspiring Maths Teacher to join their team from 1st December. This full-time role is initially for a minimum of 12 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Part-time applicants may also be considered.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Inspire students to achieve their full potential and develop a positive attitude towards mathematics.
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high teaching and learning standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• A strong grasp of curriculum expectations and effective classroom management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for helping students progress academically.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
