Maths Teacher – Tameside
Teaching Personnel are currently working with an Ofsted good school located in the Denton area of Tameside. This school is looking for a Maths teacher that have got experience teaching classes from KS3 – KS4. The module will be covered by the AQA syllabus. Therefore, prior experience of planning and marking along this syllabus would be highly desirable.
The role will be working within a mixed mainstream secondary school with it being until the February break to begin and then the potential for it becoming a long-term placement based on the performance. The successful applicant must have received QTS from either a PGCE or a teacher direct programme.
Maths Teacher Job Roles:
- Teaching KS3/4 maths along the AQA syllabus from the start of the January term.
- Potential permanent position based on the initial performance, initially from January – February half term.
- Planning and marking to be issued from January, with the initial start to be seen as an adjustment period to the school and the year groups.
- Part of an Ofsted good school in the heart of Denton, surrounded by a supportive department
- Pay will be dependent upon a pay scale ranging between MPS1 – MPS6 (New pay scales will be adhered to.)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
