Maths Teacher

We are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for a Secondary School in Workington who are looking for a Mathematics Teacher on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability of successful Maths teaching and be a confident and creative classroom practitioner who possesses a passion for the subject and the ability to enthuse and motivate students. Applicants should possess a good honours degree with a passion for Maths and be qualified to teach Maths at GCSE level.

Duties Include:

  • Strong classroom management using the schools behaviour policy;
  • A passion for teaching and pupil development;
  • Experience of lesson planning and delivery of engaging Mathematics lessons;
  • To produce high quality lesson resources;
  • To monitor pupil progress;
  • To attend department meetings and parents evenings;
  • Knowledge of school policies including Safeguarding.

We are searching for a qualified Maths Teachers who may already love locally or may look to relocate to this part of the UK for permanent work. We are looking for candidates who are UK teacher trained, have QTS and have taught Maths within the last 3 years in a secondary environment.
