Maths Teacher - Secondary School - Solihull - September 2018

At Academics we are currently working alongside a School in Solihull to recruit an Outstanding teacher of Maths to join an experienced and supportive department from September. This is a permanent position to start from September with interviews taking place from the first week in July.

We are looking for teachers who are resilient, driven and self-motivated and those that will contribute to the success of the schools cohesive and welcoming department. The successful applicants would be expected to teach a range of classes, including Key Stage 3 and 4, as well as potential Key Stage 5 lessons, where applicable. Much time is committed to developing a wide range of teaching and learning strategies to be implemented within the subject, with a focus on a collaborative approach to planning with centralised, shared units of work and resources. As a department, they follow the EDEXCEL specification at KS4 and, at KS5. The school are introducing EDEXCEL A Level in September 2018, whilst continuing to deliver the International Baccalaureate

Start Date: September 2018 (Full time, Permanent)

Requirements:

*** Qualified Teacher Status

*** UK classroom experience

*** Up to date knowledge of the current curriculum at Key Stages 3 - 5

You will be required to have current teaching experience and hold a UK teaching qualification.
