Due to a restructuring in our client schools Maths department, there is a need for a qualified Maths teacher to join them on a full time basis from Easter 2018 onwards, with a view to securing a permanent position from September 2018 onwards.
- Ofsted graded Good secondary school in Oldham
- State of the art facilities for students and staff to benefit from throughout
- Full time position teaching Mathematics from Easter 18
- Earn in line with your teaching scale point (MPS/UPS per annum)
Our client school is smaller than most secondary schools in the local area with less than 1200 pupils currently enrolled, though the school is now oversubscribed for all Key Stage 3 year groups. Since moving to a purpose built site, there has been an upturn in pupil behaviour which has lead to improved results across all year groups, and last years Year 11 GCSE results were the best ever achieved by the school, with the Maths department being the flagship of the school's success.
"We are looking to appoint a Mathematics teacher on a temporary basis from Easter, to join us and teach Maths across Years 7 - 10 for the duration of this academic year, with the potential to secure a position with ourselves ahead of a new academic year. We would expect incoming members of staff to contribute to the wider scale of the department including planning and marking schemes of work"
If you are a Maths teacher looking for a new opportunity from Easter 2018 and would like to be considered for this position, then please apply via the link provided or contact Miles at Manchester North Secondary.
