Maths teacher needed for long term part time position in Secondary school located in central Bath.

The schools current Mathematics department are extremely successful and currently looking to grow the team and welcome a new member of staff at such a vital time in terms of pupil results on a part time basis.
Your new role
As explained previously this job role will need a member of staff who can teach Mathematics on a part time basis which will be taught across three days a week. The timetable would require someone who could teach Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on a weekly basis. The teachers timetable will be built up of a mix of both KS3 and KS4 and so a confidence in teaching to this level will be required. Planning and marking will also be expected from the successful teacher and so previous experience of preparing and delivering engaging lessons plans across the Mathematics curriculum will be necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
The school are currently looking for the correct teacher to join the successful team. To fit alongside the current ethos of the school its important to be a passionate teacher of Mathematics who is confident in teaching to mixed ability groups in both KS3 and KS4. It is therefore necessary to have taught and prepared lesson plans to a high standard in the past. All necessary studies will need to be completed with QTS in place.
