Materials Management and Planning Assistant Scientist - Herts

CK Group are recruiting for a Materials Management and Planning Assistant Scientist to join a Pharmaceutical R&D company in the Hertfordshire region on an initial 9 month contract.

The role of the Assistant Scientist within Materials Management & Planning is to support the timely development, manufacture, packaging and distribution of Phase I - Phase IV clinical trials supplies for the organisation.

The role will involve:
Providing timely supply of materials globally across the network in accordance with cGxP, company policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
Ensuring a lean, efficient service which remains adaptable to the business and voice of the customer.
Maintaining the highest level of safety and compliance through all activities.
Working within a warehouse type environment, adhering to GMP and safe working principles; aligned to existing procedures and policies.
Preparing, completing and maintaining accurate documentation, both manually and via IT systems.
Reporting discrepancies and supporting quality investigations, vendor complaints and waivers.
Taking part in Quality activities, including investigations and audits as required.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Degree or equivalent in a Science subject.
You will have experience of or working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry and some experience within either a cGxP environment or a Materials Management & Planning group.
