Material Scientist / Project Lead - Thick Film Materials - Norfolk - MD/RC23
Salary/ Benefits: Up to £40k DOE
Job Term: Full Time/Permanent
My client, a global provider of microelectronic products, is currently searching for a Material Scientist to join their growing team as a Project Team Leader.
Reporting to the Engineering & Technology Development Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading the design and development of microcircuits suitable for harsh environment applications.
You will also be the technical lead for all Thick Film materials and processes, which will include researching, identifying and developing new material sets and processes from concept to qualification.
This opportunity is perfect for those with an inquisitive mindset, as the successful candidate will lead and work with a team to solve complex technical problems on new and existing products.
The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to write technical papers and present at technical conferences.
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Material Science or Chemistry, as well as proven industry experience and proven project and leadership experience.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
