Material Handling Business Development Manager

This is an operational and Board level role, responsible for all post sales operations of Material Handling technology within the UK arm of a global business. As a company we develop innovative solutions to address customers end-to-end handling requirements across industries worldwide. With our Headquarters in the UK, we have a comprehensive portfolio of high quality deliverables, from single products to full system solutions for a diverse range of industries including baggage handling in Airports to material handling solutions in a multitude of Bulk industries. To complement the current business model, we have recently developed an 'On Site Services’ offering that provides local maintenance support for the long-term stability and increased longevity of our products, systems and technologies. We are seeking a focused and customer-driven and strategically aware Engineer with extensive knowledge of innovation, R&D, NPI, CAD, project management, operations, quality control, product and process engineering, with experience of multi-site facilities. You will be able to address complex engineering challenges and forge solutions with a decisive and results-oriented approach. You will have the depth and breadth of expertise and experience expected at Director level and you will bring with you a wealth of tools and methodologies, implemented throughout your career. You will have proven budget-management capabilities. You will demonstrate a balance of technical engineering knowledge with a commercial business-centric focus that delivers results. All applicants will be educated to Degree level within an engineering discipline.
