Responsibilities

Oversee Goods Inwards Process

HGV Access / Offloading Materials

Inspection of Incoming Materials / Obtaining CoCs

Booking Materials on to SAP B1

Advise Materials Manager of Non Conforming Issues with incoming materials

Stores Control

Housekeeping (5S) Responsibility in Stores / Goods Inwards

Ensure all products are labelled in Stores Area

Ensure all storage racks are labelled in Stores Area

Ensure all material is on racking not on floor

Stock Take Preparation / Weekly PI Counts

Clean Goods Inwards / Stores Areas - floor, computers, etc

Issue Works Orders

Prepare Make Sheets in line with Production Plans for all processes / cells

Control Status of Make Sheets out in Production

Issuing Raw Material To / From Production

Pick SAP B1 Allocated materials to suit Make Sheet & move to Supermarket

ALLOCATE material to Make Sheet on SAP B1 System (to reflect total quantities given)

Deliver materials to Production Cells

ISSUE material to Make Sheet on SAP B1 System (to reflect total quantities used)

Adjust (UN )Allocate stock to suit actual quantity used (SAP B1 Transaction)

Check and Book NOK material returned from Production

Verify Returned material from Production - Weigh / Count / move into Stores

Verify and enter completed Make Sheets (SAP Transaction)

Stock Control

Ensure Raw Material is managed using FIFO Method

Ensure SAP B1 stock (Free + Allocated) matches actual stock - ALL Materials

Manage SAP B1 stock variances if required

Carry out Variance Investigation in-line with Procedure & record in Log

Issuing out of consumable products to production staff

Quarantine

Ensure any NOK Raw Material / Sub-Assemblies / Finished products are labelled, controlled on SAP B1 and liaise with Quality Department to resolve and process.

Candidate Specification

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Experience of Fast Moving Automotive Production / Stock Control Environment.

Experience of Administration / Organisational Roles

Shift Working 6:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:00 once trained.

General IT Skills - Including experience of Stock Control / Materials Planning Systems (SAP B1)

Impeccable attention to detail - dealing with 2000 parts and product variations

Counter Balance Forklift License
