A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner / Assistant Team Manager to join their MASH service. This is a stable service which does not require many locums as most staff are employed on a permanent basis

The Local Authority received a Good Ofsted rating and the majority of staff within the MASH service are employed on a permanent basis. This is a very stable team which has a low turnover of staff and therefore does not need to use too many locums. As a Practice Manager the post is focused around supporting and developing Social Workers and improving the level of practice. A further benefit of the post is hours of work are generally fixed as Social Workers are not carrying cases and therefore do not need to do late visits.

As this is a post within an established team the hiring manager is looking for candidates who are able to empower Social Workers and who is also able to contribute to the development of the service. Candidates will be encouraged to be creative and bring their own ideas to the table to help develop the team offering the successful applicant the opportunity to have an impact on the future of the service.

To be considered for this post you should have experience within an Assessment or MASH service. Candidates with extensive experience as a Senior / Advanced Practitioner are also welcome to apply and will be considered.
