MASH Officer Children's Services Luton

If you are a Senior Practitioner with recent and/or significant experience in a Children's MASH service or with a statutory Referral and Assessment Team and you lives locally to Luton then this may be an excellent role for you.

Luton Borough Council are currently seeking Qualified Social Worker who has worked at Senior Practitioner level (or higher) to undertake a MASH Officer role based out of Luton Town Hall.

The MASH Team deal with contacts and referrals sent by members of the public and professionals to Children's Services for a safeguarding response. Where the MASH team consider that the child's welfare will be better met by early help services, they will ensure referrals get to the most appropriate teams and will inform professional referrers the outcome of their request for a safeguarding assessment.

Pay rate £32ph Ltd

To be considered for this role you must have previous relevant experience, ideally within a Referral and Assessment, Duty and Assessment, Initial Response, Access and Assessment or MASH service.
