You will working with of the best performing East London Council's whereby providing the up most customer and client service is at the forefront of this Council's business plans. Due to a revival in its markets this Council is looking at expanding its market operations.
Your new role
You'll be working as a markets Inspector within some of the best run markets in East London. The Market Inspector plays a key role in ensuring that the markets run in accordance with the licence conditions. Duties will include liaison with traders to ensure licence conditions are adhered to, appropriate goods are sold, allocation of pitches and ensuring the market is maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Markets Inspector whom has worked for a local London Council. You'll be aware of all relevant legislation in relation to markets and local authorities. You'll take a proactive and community centred approach in terms of building relationships with traders to seek co-operation and will enforce as a last resort. You will also be a great team player and able to work on your own using your own initiative.
