Summary of the role
You will be supporting the Marketplace Manager in the running of our marketplaces. Currently we operate on Amazon and eBay international. You will work our team in setting up new marketplaces, managing the stock, pricing, marketing and graphics.
From time to time you will be asked to work on other brands under the umbrella of Low-Profile. The role may have areas added and removed as the business grows.
Support us in running major online selling platforms including Amazon and eBay (Amazon UK/DE/FR, US, eBay UK/DE) and contribute to researching opportunities to expand further.
Liaising to optimise performance and resolve technical issues with listings.
Ensuring keywords, titles, product descriptions and prices for all listings are optimised to ensure our listings stay competitive and well-ranked in the search results
Expand our online sales by setting up and managing new (and existing) product listings, PPC and Cross selling promotions
Monitoring trends on marketplaces and keeping watch on our competitors.
Monitoring pricing and promotions and ensuring prices, stock, imagery and content is displayed properly.
Track weekly sales performance metrics and implement strategy to improve these metrics
Forecasting and arranging new FBA shipments accordingly.
Reporting on marketplace performance.
Build a strong relationship with our Marketplace third-party providers.
Supporting the team to manage the respective relationship with each of the Marketplaces, by ensuring that each site is optimised in best way possible.
Identify new marketplace trends and opportunities.
Trade in the marketplaces in order to optimise and maximise sales.
To work in close collaboration with the wider ecommerce team to ensure they supply all contents.
Work with and build a strong rapport with other departments, such as the Warehouse team and the Customer Service team for operational success.
Responsible for ensuring homepages, listings and promotions are optimised for engagement and for driving and maximising sales.
Collaborate with the Marketplace providers in order to agree on campaigns so that they drive revenue and brand awareness
Work with the Customer Service Team Leader to identify and resolve operational issues for Marketplace customers.
Skills and Experience:
A very good understanding of online sales and retail
Good knowledge and experience with Amazon Seller Central & FBA
An excellent understanding of keywords and their importance within online marketplaces
Basic understanding of HTML code, which is necessary for building eBay & Amazon descriptions
Advanced Excel knowledge would be advantageous
Good communication skills and fluent written/spoken English
Passionate about e-commerce and selling online
Knowledge of French or German advantageous
1+ year’s proven experience selling on eBay, Amazon or other marketplaces
