Marketing & Sales Coordinator

My Client based in Appley Bridge, Wigan currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Sales Coordinator to join their business. We are looking for somebody who holds marketing and sales support experience.

Job Purpose: To provide support to the Marketing and Sales Teams to ensure a full and efficient service is delivered.

Responsible to: Head of Marketing

Principle Objectives:

  1. Stock control of literature and samples levels
  2. Fulfilment of all literature requests received via web, phone, email and post
  3. Organise sample requests in liaison with sample cutter
  4. Logging and allocation of all relevant sales leads from external databases
  5. Producing and updating any sales lists
  6. General secretarial and administrative assistance to Marketing team
  7. Maintenance and updating of websites and associated documents
  8. Assistance with event organisation
  9. Support to Commercial and field based Business Managers where appropriate with communications to customers and prospects
  10. Management of CRM system
  11. Coordinating CPD bookings and fulfilling the pipeline for members of each sales divisions
  12. Updating social media and the website with content on a regular basis
  13. Update and review any customer lists provided
  14. Keep the department clean, tidy and easy to navigate
  15. Organise and maintain the Fix that Hut entries

Performance Indicators:

  1. Optimum stock levels are maintained
  2. Literature requests are followed up on in accordance with agreed service levels
  3. Sample requests are sent out within given time scales
  4. Sales leads from internal and external sources are efficiently managed and distributed
  5. Keep sales leads up to date with the correct contact details
  6. Administrative duties are undertaken as necessary
  7. Websites kept up to date using content management system.
  8. Events are organised as needed
  9. Appropriate help and support is given to field based staff
  10. CRM marketing database is kept up to date
  11. CPD enquiries recorded and disseminated to business managers according to procedure in place
  12. Maintain a healthy pipeline of CPDs
  13. Both the office and store room and tidy and efficient - easy to find literature, samples and PoS
  14. A healthy ongoing list of Fix that Hut projects

  10. Good general IT skills, specifically Microsoft packages
  11. Event management skills - Desirable
  12. Good interpersonal skills, team player and helpful attitude
  13. Database management skills - Desirable
  14. Creativity and digital marketing awareness - Desirable
