The Company: This is a great time to be joining this technology business. They have very ambitious plans to grow, they are looking to triple in size over the next 6-12 months. With new clients coming on board at a rapid rate, this hire is now deemed as a critical. This Marketing Manager role is brand new and will be our clients first marketing hire. In order to be successful in this role, you need to be comfortable being in a standalone role.

The role of Marketing Manager:

This brand-new role will be part of a newly built marketing function. Reporting to Co-Founder this role will be responsible for creating medium and long format content pieces that will feed into the business content marketing strategy.

Examples of the type of objectives that will be associated to this role will include: Quantity of articles created, quality of articles created, website and social media traffic numbers, google page ranking and back-links secured.

The Marketing Manager will therefore be responsible for building an annual content calendar that will support campaign activity to acquire new clients globally. In addition to creating engaging and eye catching content, our client would like the successful candidate to be comfortable in creating and executing social & email campaigns through Hubspot

If you have solid B2B content marketing experience , where you have written content for a tech/SaaS business then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities for the position of Marketing Manager:

  • Drive the go-to-market content and manage the editorial calendar in line with business objectives
  • Developing an annual content strategy to support client acquisition
  • Working with the Co-Founder to create marketing content for different stages of the marketing funnel - awareness, consideration, decision making, customer, advocate
  • Writing medium & long-form content pieces
  • Monitor and report on content performance to aid the business understanding of marketing and media effectiveness
  • Always be writing with SEO at front of mind
  • Develop an extensive range of campaign content including client-facing materials, media-focused materials (press releases, op-eds), digital content (webpages, blogs, social media posts), videos/animations scrips, whitepapers/reports/data stories
  • Run end to end marketing campaigns across email and social media

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in a B2B commercial content marketing role
  • Worked in the Tech/SaaS industry
  • Written content across multiple forms
  • Experience in working with external industry specialists to create content pieces
  • Experience working on marketing campaigns that are informed by engaging content
  • Experience in running end to end marketing campaigns

The Package for Marketing Manager :

  • Salary: £40,000-45,000
  • Home office Budget
  • Training Budget

Location: The position of Marketing Manager will be based in London. The company offer a flexible working policy.
