The client is really looking for an all-rounder, self-starting and resourceful Marketing Manager to join the B2B divisions.
You will be an outstanding project manager, free to work with autonomy - setting budgets, working out marketing strategies focused on lead generation, building brand presence and delivering end-to-end campaigns.
The role will involve:
~ Develop and manage tactical marketing campaigns focused on customer acquisition, retention and development.
~ Identify and maximise any new opportunities to drive new business B2B lead generation, developing ideas and offers for further optimisation across marketing and sales channels.
~ Working alongside the Group Digital Marketing Manager, develop and deliver strategies to drive online traffic and social media buzz.
~ Manage the production of assets such as email campaigns, printed materials, exhibition materials, website content, whether in-house or via suppliers.
~ Be good at negotiating with our suppliers & partners to get the results we are looking for.
~ Writing copy
You will also be accustomed to Offline Marketing eg Media such as radio events, print and production, exhibitions, but the need for someone who wants the freedom to develop truly integrated campaigns with a strong emphasis on digital.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
~ Experience in a marketing managerial level
~ Degree in Marketing OR relevant qualification
~ Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent (advantageous but not necessary)
~ Proven track record of designing, implementing and managing campaigns that lead to an increase in sales/leads and awareness.
~ Experience of working with and/or managing external agencies/suppliers
~ Budget management
~ Strong commercial understanding
~ Experience with B2B
