Marketing Manager

Evolve recruitment are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager who is looking to progress their career within the events and marketing industry. Our client is looking for well-established individuals with a background in B2B Campaigns. Please see below for more information.

Key responsibilities:
·The Marketing Manager will develop marketing strategy for the brand and its expanding portfolio of events
·Develop detailed market knowledge and use this information to communicate differentiation and drive growth of the portfolio
· As the Marketing Manager, you will contribute to project development and influence strategic planning and investment decisions
·Identify key market drivers and areas of risk and opportunity particularly at research stage of campaigns
·Map the size of the market for each event, identify data gaps in and devise data build plans that ensure the database represents the entire universe by the time campaigns start and that this data is maintained and continues to be built out over time
·The Marketing Manager will oversee implementation and ensure that its functionality is fully utilised to the benefit of the business Planning and implementing integrated marketing communications campaigns for each event, using all aspects of direct response marketing - email, digital/web, PR, advertising, social media, direct mail etc.
·As the Marketing Manager, you will develop strategic and valuable partnerships in order to gain maximum exposure of our events to relevant audiences
·Work with the production team and event managers to plan and deliver content to underpin our marketing activities and lead generation
·Manage, monitor, maintain and regularly review relationships with key suppliers to ensure highest levels of service are continuously delivered
·The Marketing Manager will work closely with the sponsorship/exhibition and delegate sales teams, providing a pool of qualified leads for them to target
·Remain up-to-date with latest communications tools and continuously assess their deployment to improve marketing effectiveness
·Manage and monitor budgets, provide accurate and detailed forecasts and feed into the budget setting process
·Work with operations manager to manage budget and ensure profits/contribution are in line with the business plan
·Forecast accurately and input in to 13-weeks, six weeks and one-week trading reports

Key skills:
·The Marketing Manager will need a proven track record of implementing successful campaigns for large scale B2B exhibitions and conferences
·Demonstrable experience of man-managing large show/ project teams
·A strategic thinker and an experienced marketing expert
·Track record of planning and executing successful campaigns for a wide portfolio of B2B products
·P&L management and forecasting
·Integrity, authenticity and honesty. Lead from the front
·People management and ability to provide training and coaching
·Excellent stakeholder management skills
