Our client is a world renowned Financial Services giant and is looking to expand its marketing team within one of its central London based offices.
This role works within our clients advisory marketing team and contributes to the overall success of the advisory business. The role works with the senior manager for advisory and partners across the advisory business. It has a direct report and focuses as part of a matrixed organisation on three main areas: campaign management; managing our clients intermediary audience channels, and being the main point of contact for a number of service lines across the advisory business.
•Supports the advisory team with the implementation of the marketing strategy and forms links with other service lines, sectors and marketing teams to avoid 'silo' activities
•Has a sound knowledge of the financial performance and objectives, market position, target audience and related market dynamics
•Works directly with key partners/ stakeholders and BD Manager to develop the marketing strategy, recommending and gaining commitment to where marketing investment should be focused to generate maximum output
•Is up to date in the key strategic themes and revenue opportunities for at any given time, and to convert themes and opportunities into related activities/ initiatives.
•Project manages the implementation of campaigns, adapting to the relevant markets, and applying the highest production standards.
•Project manages company-wide national campaigns where appropriate.
•Uses the most effective combination of marketing channels for each campaign or initiative, to generate best results.
•Delivers effective internal communications around initiatives to ensure take-up and appropriate usage on the ground.
•Provides direct on the ground support where necessary to implement initiatives, working with local BD teams.
•Creates and manages relevant third party relationships/ strategic partners - e.g. research agencies, media organisations
•Ensures appropriate follow up takes place after each sales/marketing activity
•Identifies and advises seniors of opportunities for new business or cross-selling
•Demonstrates commercial benefits from activities
•Provides strategic support to the various specialisms/ teams within the service line/ sector.
•Supports and champions the firm's client care and client satisfaction programmes.
•Reviews relevant client satisfaction reports to build understanding of issues or opportunities.
•Responsible for direct reports
•Undertakes other duties or responsibilities that may be reasonably required from time to time.
•Works collaboratively across all areas within the team to maximise our contribution to the firm and to clients
•Works in line with the firm's CLEARR values, of collaboration, leadership, excellence, agility, respect and responsibility
•Provides regular reports for the senior marketing manager as required
Education, experience and qualifications:
•You will come from a professional service background, either in-house or agency.
•You will have solid generalist marketing experience (thought leadership, events & PR)
•You will have excellent presentation, written and communication skills
•You will have strong senior stakeholder relationship skills
•CIM qualification desirable
