The Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 starting salary

Key Responsibilities

The role involves leadership, creative, commercial and administrative responsibilities including managing all advertising, marketing and promotional activities.

Conduct market research; analyse customer information and monitor competitor activities to ensure that the business responds appropriately.

Research opportunities for new business relationships; and strengthen existing key relationships to maximise their potential.

Key Qualities

Strong communication and face-to-face interpersonal and leadership skills.

Confidence to liaise with people at all organisational levels.

Organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects within numerous tight deadlines often under pressure.

A dynamic individual who identifies with our unique holistic business ethos.

Demonstrate cultural awareness and respect for diversity at all times.

People management - develop and motivate a team of professional and talented individuals; lead regular team meetings and provide clear briefs and ensure that all deadlines are met.

Liaise with senior management with regards to marketing reports, feedback and new initiatives to drive the business forward.

Oversee all marketing content including our Company website, social media posts and blogs.

Work closely with other key business departments with regards to new and existing product development.

Support with efficient event organisation and develop our current event programme to ensure it is concurrent with our brand ethos.

Participate in post-event evaluation including following up on queries and acquired contacts.

Support the team with facilitating the sponsorship side of the business.

Operational

Create and distribute promotional materials and information guides to communicate the benefits of Burns products and services.

Operate within pre-agreed financial budget parameters at all times.

Comply with relevant legislation and restrictions including all aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Remain informed of the latest general developments in the industry.

Education/Qualification/Experience

Experienced in a related role with a proven track record of managing at a senior/strategic level.

Excellent standard of literacy and numeracy including competency in Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel).

Fully competent in IT with an understanding of digital marketing techniques.

Full UK driving licence.
